Each labour resource must belong to a labour resource group. The Labour Resource Groups window is where you set up labour resource groups.
Note: Graphical Planner assigns works orders or works order recommendations to a specific labour resource or to a labour resource group. If you have several resources defined in the group, Graphical Planner uses the first available resource in the group.
Important! If you are using the full Manufacturing product, some information that you enter for the labour resource group must be the same as the information you entered for the Cost Headings.
In order to be compatible for use with all Manufacturing modules, you must make sure:
Note: If you select Perform Compatibility Checks on the Environment tab in System Settings and you choose differently, you will receive a warning prompt when you save a labour resource group.
Open: Manufacturing System Manager > Labour Register > Records > Labour Resource Groups.
To edit a labour resource group, select the Group Reference and click Edit.
The default time unit, Hour, is shown.
Note: Time units must have been set up in the Time Units settings.
Note: The time unit, Hour, cannot be deleted.
If you are using all Manufacturing modules, have selected Perform Compatibility Checks in System Settings and have compatibility issues, the Compatibility Warnings prompt appears.
Open: Manufacturing System Manager > Labour Register > Records > Labour Resource Groups.
Note: You cannot delete a labour resource group if there are labour resources being used that belong to the group.
