The Plot window displays the following types of information:
Displays time used against capacity in hours.
Displays number used against number available.
Displays queue of work in hours by primary resource.
Note: Primary resource groups, primary resourceSince Graphical Planner is a single constraint scheduler, the resource you select is the Primary Resource. You can determine whether machine or labour is your primary resource by specifying the type in Manufacturing's Planning Defaults window.s and secondary resourceA secondary resource is an additional resource used to perform a task. For example, machines may be the primary resources and the labour or people needed to operate them are defined as secondary resources.s, held in Maintain Database, have an option to display the resource in a plotWithin Graphical Planner, this indicates the amount of work waiting to be processed at a selected resource across the period of the schedule. It can also display the utilisation of a resource, as well as the queue. window. We recommend that you allow only key resources to be displayed as plots in order to make the display easier to understand.
You can view:
Use this facility to view the various plots available in one window. Viewing multiple plots in one window offers the advantage of scrolling through one window instead of many. You can also filter the window to display only those resources you want to analyse.
