You can change how the resources are displayed in the sequencer or change the order in which they appear.
Open: Main Menu > Maintain Database > Primary Resources.
Double-click on the desired primary resourceSince Graphical Planner is a single constraint scheduler, the resource you select is the Primary Resource. You can determine whether machine or labour is your primary resource by specifying the type in Manufacturing's Planning Defaults window..
The Edit Resources Information window appears.
Note: Do not change the Name or Description here, because Graphical Planner will not allocate work correctly. You must edit the Primary Resource name and description in Manufacturing.
Enter an Efficiency % value. Normal efficiency is 100%. You can use this to change the processing time of all operations assigned to this resource.
Note: If anything less than 100% is entered, capacity is reduced.
The Edit Resources Display Options Information window appears.
Enter a number for the Preactor Display Order. Entering 1.00 makes resources appear in the sequencer Overview window in the order they are entered in the resource table in Maintain Database.
Enter a higher value if you want to display the resource lower in the sequencer Overview window.
Select the Resource Display Options.
Note: You can hide a resource in the sequencer by selecting Hide for the Resource Display Options. This is useful if you want to hide a resource, but still keep the record.
To view the details of the valid contraints, select the constraint in the Valid Secondary Constraints list and click View.
The Edit Resources Information window appears.
This lets you see the Constraint Usage and Constraint Quantity.
This is useful when you are defining a setup time that is dependent on sequence.
The Sequence Dependent Setup Time window appears.
Specify the Viewer system applied to the resource.
This is used when the scheduling system is connected to one or more Preactor viewers. It defines which viewer the operations for this resource should be sent to when a schedule is released. The operations are displayed on the selected viewer.
