In order to schedule your operations, you need to know how to do the following analysis tasks for schedules:
Plots provide a summary of work waiting for each resource and can be useful for assessing where bottleneckResources with a critical impact on the schedule. Calculated by Graphical Planner using the waiting time of jobs to be processed on the resource. Those with a long queue of work are likely to be identified as bottlenecks.s occur.
You can view plots, using the sequencer Plot window. In addition to viewing primary resources, you can view secondary resources too. Although secondary resources are always infinite in Sage Graphical Planner, you can change the colour of the resource when it exceeds a specific number. You can then move operations to ensure restrictions are not exceeded.
You can use the Trace Chart window to compare schedules side-by-side, as you may have made changes in the sequencing method. Or you may want to create what if? scenarios, to see the effect of building in planned maintenance to your schedule.
You can also compare two schedules against primary resources, instead of orders and recommendations.
You can view statistical information about schedules. For example, the number of orders that are early or late, or the percentage value of time that the operations have been worked on.
You can view the impact of allocating operations to resources by using Utilization Mode in the sequencer Overview window.
When you are in this mode, you can generate a report of utilisation over time, using the File > Save Utilisation Data option.
