Calendars

Default calendar templates for a five, six and seven day working week are provided with Graphical Planner. In addition to these default calendars and to the non-working periods you can set up in Manufacturing, you can set up standard and non standard repeating shift patternsSpecific periods of time that are repeatedly assigned to a labour or machine resource. for both your primary and secondary resources using Graphical Planner calendars.

Any business using production machinery as part of their process will, from time to time, suffer breakdowns that will affect the performance of the plan. Graphical Planner will help you to model the down time and assess the impact on the plan in order to see if the breakdown has an adverse affect on deliveries, or determine the optimum time to schedule the planned maintenance.

Pre-planned or preventative maintenance can be set up as calendar templates and calendar states.

Calendars and resources work in the following way:

You can create and edit calendar templates, periods and states, and assign the templates to resources.

Note: The shift pattern data is created and updated in Graphical Planner. It is not affected by any data transfers from Manufacturing.
