Deleting a BOM

You can remove redundant BOMA stock assembly and process costing system, which provides facilities to specify the structure of finished items in terms of sub-assemblies and components. records, if they conform to certain criteria.

• If you are using version control, you can remove BOMs with new and retired status, provided:
• The BOM is not a sub-assembly on another BOM record.
• The BOM is not checked out to another user.
• The BOM has no outstanding allocations.
• The BOM has never been built.
• If you are not using version control, you can remove BOMs which have no outstanding BOM allocations. See Allocating and building BOMs.
• BOMs must not be associated with a group.
