The Accounting System Manager

The Accounting System Manager module allows you control the integration of Sage 200.

Use the Accounting System Manager to:

Record details about your company or companies.
Enter operational and transaction settings that apply to the Financials and Commercials modules.
Manage your Accounting Periods.
Produce and Reconcile Intrastat (SSD).
Set up common information that applies throughout Sage 200, such as:
- Country codes.
- Tax rates.
- Foreign currencies and exchange rates.
- Customer and supplier analysis codes.
- Transaction analysis codes for reporting.
- Credit Information.
- Merchant Accounts.

Run regular maintenance tasks to make sure your ledgers and accounts balance:

Maintain Transaction Audit File.
Sage 200 has an audit trail of transactions entered in the financial ledgers. You can Print, Archive or Delete these audit trail transactions.

Balance Ledgers.

You can identify and rectify problems on accounts held in the Financial and the Commercials modules.

Financials modules	This checks the balance of each account against the total transactions applied to the account. It also shows you the overall total on the ledger.
Commercials modules	This validates stock quantities and order/return line values for sales and purchases. Identified anomalies can be rectified using this activity.

Ledger Summaries.
View the overall status of your ledgers such as the numbers of accounts, ledger balances and the current accounting period.
User Login Status utility.
This allows you to:
- Receive alerts from the Sage 200 Messenger. This advises you of possible issues caused by users abnormally exiting from the system in the event of a system crash, power cut and so on.
- View the users currently logged on to the system.
- View users who have been disconnected from the system unexpectedly.
Validate Units of Measure.
Use this to identify problems with stock items and their units of measure.
