Copying operations

You can create an operation by copying the details from an existing operation.

The new operation will hold the details of the original operation. Amend the details for the new operation.

To copy operations

1. Use one of the following ways to open the Duplicate Operation window:
• Click Duplicate when adding an operation.
• Choose Manufacturing System Manager > Operations Register > Records > Copy Operation.
• Choose Manufacturing System Manager > Operations Register > Operation Register List.

Without selecting an operation in the list, click Copy.

2. Select the Reference of the operation that you want to copy from the Reference drop-down list.

3. Click OK.

   The operation details are displayed in the New Operation Record window.

4. Enter a new Reference and amend the operation details as required.
5. Click Save.
