You can place one or more operations onto the sequencer, either automatically or manually. The automatic method allows you to place all (or a group of), unscheduled operations onto the sequencer at one time. The manual method allows you to assess, operation by operation, what should be placed on the sequencer and where.
You can also use Locate to select a range of operations, on the basis of a number of selection criteria, and automatically place them on the Overview window.
There are different methods of sequencing operations while they are being placed on the Overview window. By default, the sequencer sets the Generate Schedule icon to sequence forward. When doing any type of sequencing, you must select one of the following order processing methods:
Select what you want to do:
Click the Generate Schedule icon on the Sequence toolbar.
The unscheduled operations are placed on the Overview window.
Note: There may be operations remaining in the Unscheduled Operations window. These are operations that cannot be scheduled, due to resource limitations or timing issues.
An options menu appears.
The operations are removed from the Unscheduled Operations window and appear in the Overview window. The group of operations are highlighted in the Operations window.
Note: Once the operation has been moved onto the Overview window, the length of time required to complete the operation is represented by the length of the bar.

The top level tag identifies all related orders and operations of a final assembly.
Note: You can extend the search by using the AND and OR options in the window.
Your selection highlights orders in the Unscheduled Operations window.
The orders selected by the criteria are automatically placed on the Overview window.
