There are a range of location and highlighting options in the sequencerGraphical Planner's virtual board on which to plan your schedules., which can be accessed from the Locate icon drop-down on the Main toolbar.

You can determine if there are any errors when sequencing two separate operations, where one must be completed prior to the start of the second.
The parent child order relationshipThe principal order data record (parent) is linked to operations (children) which are required to complete the job. is based on a hierarchy where one operation is assigned as the parent (Top Level Tag), and is linked to another operation (Tag). This can be seen by double-clicking on any operation in the Unscheduled Operations, and Overview windows.
Note: Either a sub-assemblyWhen raw materials or components make a part of a finished product. The sub-assembly may be combined with other components or with other sub-assemblies in the manufacture of finished goods. or finished product can be a parent.
The Order No. entry is linked to the entry in the Tag field. Tags are automatically created when generating works orders in Manufacturing.
Open: Planning > MRP > Records > Amend Recommendation | Tags.
You can use the Preactor Locator window to search for operations by product code.
Select what you want to do:

Only the selected order remains active in Unscheduled Operations and Overview windows.

A list of orders identifying same or similar parts appears under Search For. The items in the Unscheduled Operations and Overview windows are greyed out.

Note: Once you have located a range of operations, you can sequence, unallocate or lock the selected range.
The Highlight Sequence Errors icon in the Locate icon drop-down list, applies to operations in a single order. Identifying sequence errors can be useful if you have moved operations from one resource to another on the Overview window.
Note: Highlight Sequence Errors does not identify componentsRaw materials used to manufacture finished goods. that are scheduled for completion later than jobs for assemblies which require those same components.
The Validate Schedule icon on the Main toolbar identifies any errors on the Overview through a message prompt. The Highlight Sequence Errors icon highlights the errors.
