Lock and unlock operations

1. Retrieve the scheduleThe name of the default schedule file. It also refers to the production schedule represented by the sequencer Overview window in Graphical Planner. you want to update.

Open: File > Open.

The schedule appears in the sequencer.

2. Hide the calendar.

Open: View > Calendar Display Mode > Hide Calendar.

The calendar view is removed from the Overview window.

3. Select Calendar Edit Mode.

Open: View > Edit Mode > Calendar Edit Mode.

The watch symbol appears with the cursor in the Sequence Overview.

4. Drag the terminatorThe line that represents the current time in Graphical Planner schedules. Everything before the terminator line is in the past. Light grey shading represents the past. The terminator line is where the shading stops. line to the time you want locked.
• In the Overview window, drag the terminator line from left to right.

The locked area is highlighted in grey.

5. Unschedule the remaining operations.
• Click the Remove Operations from Schedule  icon on the Sequence toolbar.
6. Drag the terminator line back to the current date/time.
7. Lock the operations that have already started, or lock the orders that have already started.
• Click either the Lock History  or Lock Started Orders  icons on the Sequence toolbar.

1. Right-click on a Resource in the Overview window.

The option menu appears.

2. Select Lock All Operations.

All operations are locked for that resource.

Note: Locking prevents the system from unscheduling or moving an operation during a repair. You can still move the locked operation manually if required. If the manual movement conflicts with another operation, a message appears asking you to confirm the change.

Using the Locate  icon drop-down list on the Main toolbar:

1. Click the Lock Highlighted Operations  icon.

The operation is locked.

2. Click the Highlight Locked Operations  icon.

This selects and highlights all locked operations.

Manually:

1. Double-click an operation in the Overview.

The Edit Orders Information window appears.

2. Click Edit alongside Operation Status.

The Edit Orders Operation Status Information window appears.

3. Select the Lock Operation check box.
4. Click Previous....
5. Click OK.

The operation is locked.

Using icons on the toolbar:

1. Double-click the Locate  icon on the Main toolbar.

   The Preactor Locator window appears.

2. Select a Priority, Product Code, or Top Level Tag in the Search Field.

   The group and/or orders are highlighted.

3. Using the Locate  icon drop-down list:
1. Click the Lock Highlighted Operations  icon.

The operations are locked.

2. Click the Highlight Locked Operations  icon.

This selects and highlights all locked operations.

Manually:

1. Right-click an operation in the Overview window.

   An options menu appears.

2. Select Highlight Options > Entire Order.
3. Using the Locate  icon drop-down list:
1. Click the Lock Highlighted Operations  icon.

The operations are locked.

2. Click the Highlight Locked Operations  icon.

This selects and highlights all locked operations.

1. Using the Locate  icon drop-down list on the Main toolbar:
1. Click the Highlight Locked Operations  icon.

The remaining locked operations are highlighted.

1. Click the Unlock Highlighted Operations  icon.
2. Unschedule the operations.
• Click the Remove Operations from Schedule  icon on the Sequence toolbar.

The unscheduled operations appear in the Unscheduled Operations window.

Note: Any locked operations outside of the selected area will not be automatically unscheduled when the Remove Operations from Schedule icon is selected.

• Using the Locate  icon drop-down list on the Main toolbar, click the Unlock Highlighted Operations  icon.

This unlocks all operations.
