Edit database connection

Open: Sage 200 SA (at the top of the Navigation bar) and choose Action > Properties.

On Premise deployment

  1. Click Disable User Logins to make sure that users cannot access Sage 200.

    No more users can log on until you click Enable User Logins.

  2. Enter the Database Settings.
    1. Enter the Server name, or click to select it from a list.
    2. Enter the Database Name, or click to select it from a list.
  3. Select the action you want to take.

    Note: You must enter SQL credentials (Logon Name and Password) in order to perform actions on the configuration database.

    Test Test the connection exists and state which version of the administration databaseThe administration database contains your configuration information and settings for System Administration. is connected.
    Update Update the administration database and state the updated administration database version number.
    Create

    Create the administration database .

  4. Click Enable User Logins to make sure that users can access Sage 200.
  5. Click OK to confirm the changes.

Sage 200 Online

  1. Select the action you want to take.
