Connect to database

Open: System Administration.

On Premise deployment

  1. If your SQL server is password protected or has stopped, a prompt appears, asking if you want to configure the System Administration database.

  2. Enter the Database Settings.
    1. Enter the SQL Server name, or click to select it from a list.
    2. Enter the Database Name, or click to select it from a list.
  3. Click Create to create the administration databaseThe administration database contains your configuration information and settings for System Administration. .
  4. You must enter the SQL credentials to create an administration database. Enter the Logon Name and Password for an SQL user that has rights to create a database.
  5. Click OK to confirm the changes.

    The Logon window appears, and you can log on to Sage 200 System Administration.

Sage 200 Online

  1. Click Create to create the administration database.
  2. Click OK to confirm the changes.
  3. The Logon window appears, and you can log on to Sage 200 System Administration.
