Set up the Price Book

Note: The prices and discounts specified in the Price Book apply to all types of stock items. They do not apply to sales order items or free text items.

Use the price book to:

• Set up and manage stock item selling prices. You can use fixed prices or markup.

Note: You can import selling prices from outside Sage 200.

• Set up and manage customer discounts and surcharges. These can be for a single stock item, a product group, or based on order value.

Note: Surcharges are created in the same way as discounts but are added to the price rather than subtracted from it.
