Selecting BOMs

1. To add individual BOMs, click Add and select the Stock Item from the drop-down list.
2. To add groups, click Add Group to display the Select Bill of Materials Group window.
• Select the Group from the drop-down list.
• Click OK.
3. To add many BOMs, click Add Multiple to display the Select Multiple Bill of Materials window.
• Select the BOMs.
• Click OK.
4. If you are updating operations, click Add Matches to add all BOMs associated with operations, selected on either the Update Operation Details or Update Operation Rates windows (when maintaining Manufacturing data).
5. To delete an item, select the Stock Item and click Delete.
6. If version control is in use, select the Version of each BOM that you want to use.
7. View any exclusions or warnings on the Exclusions/Warnings tab.

Note: BOMs that are listed as exclusions will not be updated.

8. To ensure BOMs listed as warnings are not updated, select the warning line for the BOM.
9. Click Remove Bill of Materials.
10. Click OK to update the selected BOMs.
11. If you have not removed all BOMs listed as warnings, click Yes at the prompt if you want to update the BOMs without removing all warnings.
