Search categories (product group)

Use the Search Categories tab to select the search categories you want to use for the items in this group.

Entering search categories

Open: Stock Control > Stock Maintenance > Product Groups.

  1. Click Add.

    The Add New Product Group window appears.

  2. Select the Searching tab.
  3. Select the Search Categories you want to use for the product items in this group.
  4. Select the Search Values you want to use for the product items in this group.
  5. To add a new Search Value for a category here, click Add.

    Note: The product group details must be saved before you can add search values.

  6. Enter the Name of the search value.
  7. Click OK. The new search value appears in the list.
  8. To save the product group, click OK.

    To continue entering your product group settings, select the Units of Measure tab.
