Set individual connection strings

Use the Companies tab to set a connection stringA unique string of characters that identifies the server where information is held and the password information to the data. for each company.

To set individual connection strings

Open: System Administration > Information Management > Data Sources.

1. Right-click the Data Source Name and choose Properties.
2. Select the Companies tab.

3. Set the connection string for each company:

   • Select the Company Name.

   • Enter a connection string.

     You can enter a string or generate one by clicking the browse (...) button.

   • Click Test Connection String to test the string is valid.
4. Click OK to confirm the connection strings for individual companies.
