Use the Display Features tab to specify the information that is displayed and recorded for project items of this project item type. The options that are available for the project item will depend upon project settings that you have selected (e.g. for budgeting and overhead absorption).
Open: Project Accounting > Utilities > System Setup > Project Structure Settings | Project Item Type.
Select the Record general details section:
Record item description |
Select this to enter a description for the project item on the Details tab. |
Attach files and documents |
Select this if you want to attach files and documents to the project item. An Attachments tab is displayed for each project item on the project record. |
Record memo information |
Select this if you want to record memos for the project item. An Memo tab is displayed for each project item on the project record |
Record and track item status |
Select this if you want to track the status of the project items. Note: If you no longer want to track the status of project items, you must change each project item's status to Not Applicable first. |
Record and track percentage complete |
Select this if you want to record and display the percentage complete for the project items. The percentage complete is entered with the status. |
Display overhead uplift rate | Select this to display the overhead uplift percentage rate for a project item. This is entered and displayed on the Costs & Charges tab. This is only relevant if your have chosen to record overhead absorption in the Project Accounting Settings. |
Display and track cost budgets | Select this to allow cost budgets to be entered and displayed for the project item on the Costs and Charges tab. This is only available if you have chosen to record budgets in the Project Accounting Settings. |
Display and track cost units | Select this to allow the cost unit of measure to be amended and displayed for the project item on the Costs and charges tab. |
Display and allow default expense nominal code to be overridden | Select this to allow the default expense nominal code to be amended and displayed for the project item on the Costs & Charges tab. |
Display and track revenue budgets | Select this to allow revenue budgets to be entered and displayed for the project item on the Costs & Charges tab. This is only available if you have chosen to record budgets in the Project Accounting Settings. |
Display and allow default revenue nominal code to be overridden | Select this to allow the default revenue nominal code to be amended and displayed on the Costs & Charges tab. |
Display Time & Materials Pricing information | Select this to allow the time and materials pricing rules (for timesheets, stock issues and other costs) to be entered and displayed on the Costs & Charges tab. |
You can change these settings at any time.
If you decide not to display any of these features at a later date, you can clear any of the check boxes. Any information stored is hidden rather than removed from the project.
