Copying machine resources

You can create a machine resource from an existing machine resource.

The resource will hold the details of the original resource. Amend the details for the new resource.

To copy machine resources

1. Use one of the following ways to open the Duplicate Machine Resource window:
• Click Duplicate when adding a machine resource.
• Choose Manufacturing System Manager > Machine Register > Records > Copy Machine Resource.
• Choose Manufacturing System Manager > Machine Register > Machine Register List.

Without selecting a machine resource in the list, click Copy.

2. Select the Reference of the machine resource that you want to copy from the Reference drop-down list.
3. Select Copy Attachments if you want to copy the machine resource attachments.

4. Click OK.

   The machine resource details are displayed in the New Machine Resource Record window.

5. Enter a new Reference and amend the machine resource details as required.

   Note: The new reference must be unique.

6. Click Save.
