Copying drawing records

You can create a drawing record from an existing drawing record.

The new record will hold the details of the original drawing record. Amend the details for the new record.

To copy drawing records

1. Use one of the following ways to open the Duplicate Drawing Record window.
• Click Duplicate when adding a drawing record.
• Choose Manufacturing System Manager > Drawing Register > Records > Copy Drawing Record.
• Choose Manufacturing System Manager > Drawing Register > Drawing Register List.

Without selecting a drawing record in the list, click Copy.

2. From the Reference drop-down list, select the Reference of the drawing record that you want to copy.

   The Description appears automatically.

3. Select Copy Comment History if you want to copy the drawing record comment history.
4. Select Copy Attachments if you want to copy the drawing record attachments.

5. Click OK.

   The drawing record details are displayed in the New Drawing Record window.

6. Enter a new Reference and amend the drawing record details as required.
7. Click Save.
