The Work Area is used to display information relating to the Sage 200 module that you are using.
Use the Dashboard drop-down list on the toolbar, to choose the information that you want to display in the work area for each module.
You can choose to display the following:
Workspaces provide an overview of the primary information stored for each module. Use workspaces to find and analyse important information, open related windows (Actions), export information to Excel, and run reports.
Each module has default workspace, which opens when the module is selected from the navigation bar. You can change the default workspace for each module from Tools > Options | Home Page.
Process maps show the workflow associated with a particular module. For example, the Purchase Ledger process map shows the flow of tasks from entering a new supplier account, producing invoices and credit notes, to making payments.
You can choose to display a workspace as your Home Page. Your Home Page is displayed in the Work area when you select Home Page from the toolbar.
Open: Tools > Options | Home Page.
If you want your home page to be displayed all the time instead of the other work area views, select Always show Home Page.
Note: You will not be able to display other views in the work area until you disable this setting.
Note: The first time that you select a module from Navigation bar, the Welcome Page for that module is displayed.
