Set the Home page and default workspace

Use this to display a workspace as your home page and to choose the workspace that is the default for each module.

Your home Page is displayed when you select the Home Page button from the toolbar. This allows you to choose a single workspace that is always displayed regardless of the module that you select.

The default workspace is displayed when you select a module from the Navigation bar. This allows to choose the workspace that is most suited to a task or process for each module.

What do you want to do?

Set up the home page

Open: Tools > Options | Home Page.

  1. To display a workspace on your home page, select the workspace from the drop down list.

    If you do not select a workspace, the home page cannot be displayed.

  2. If you want your home page to be displayed all the time instead of the other work area views, select Always show Home Page.

    Note: You will not be able to display other views in the work area until you disable this setting.

  3. To reset the display to show Sage 200 v2011 and previous list and dashboard views, select Show Legacy List and Dashboard View.
  4. Click Save.

Set the default workspace for a module

Open: Tools > Options | Home Page.

  1. Select the workspace that you want to display from the drop-down list for each module.
  2. Click Save.
