You can edit the configuration data to set the horizon defaults and Sequence Overview Range. This enables you to control how much of a segment of time you want to view.
You can also specify the number of records you can store in each of the data tables (orders, resource groups, resources, product categories, secondary constraints) from the configuration menu.
Note: We recommend that you contact your Business Partner if you want to modify other configuration data.
Open: Configuration > Sequencer Configuration.
Use this to specify how many days of past production you want to see in the sequencer.
Use this to set the period of days (after the current time) that you want to see in the sequencer. This date is also displayed in the Operations window.
Note: We recommend that the Run MRP horizon date is reflected in the Future Planning Horizon. For example, if the MRPMaterials Requirements Planning (MRP). MRP recommends purchase orders, transfers and work orders to balance supply and demand. horizon is set to three months, and the Future Planning Horizon is one month, then Graphical Planner will not sequence all the work on the plan as it has insufficient time available.
Use this to define the length of the views in the sequencer. It configures how many days can be seen at one time.
Instead of viewing an operation's complete time period, you can display a segment of the allotted time.
Select this to display a triangle against each operation bar in the sequencer. This makes it easier to drag smaller operations on the schedule.
Select the colour that displays an operation's progress in the sequencer when mid-batch quantities and times have been recorded.
When new orders are entered into the Editor, the scheduler will automatically assign an Earliest Start Date; that is the time before which the scheduler will not attempt to load the first operation of the order. The Default Earliest Start Date Offset uses the time of entry of the order and the offset time to assign the value. Set to 0 (zero), means that the first operation will be loaded as soon as possible. An offset of 1 (one day) means that the first operation will be loaded as soon as possible after the current time, plus one day.
This is similar to the Default Earliest Start Date Offset except that this defines the time the scheduler will automatically use to set the delivery date for the order. Set to 11, means that the due date will be set to current time plus 11 days.
Enter an offset value. This sets the Scheduler so that it does not reschedule operations due to start some time into the future compared to current time. The terminator is the current time and is used in the sequencer Overview window to decide whether an operation should be unscheduled. Any operations across the terminator are not unscheduled automatically.
Note: Zero represents the current time.
