Amending picking lists

To amend picking lists

Open: Bill of Materials > Processing > Amend Picking List.

1. Select the Allocation No.

All the details for the allocation are displayed.

2. Select the Stock Code of the item that you want to amend the picking list for.

Note: If you want to amend batch or serial numbers, the Properties column shows which items are batch and serial items.

3. Click Amend Allocation.

The Amend Allocations for window appears.

4. Select the Built Item that you want to amend.
5. Click to expand the Built Item and see the warehouses for the components.

Note: All valid warehouses are shown for the built item.

6. To change allocation between bins in the same warehouse

   1. Select the Warehouse.
   2. Click Edit.
   If the item is batch traceable
   The Batch Details for Item window appears.
   1. Clear the Batch No from the current Bin.
   2. Select the Batch No from the new Bin.
   3. Enter the Qty to Allocate for the new Bin.

   Note: The total quantity to allocate must equal the amount specified in the Total Quantity box.

   4. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.
   If the item is serial traceable
   The Serial Numbers for Item window appears.
   1. Clear each check box next to the currently selected Serial No for each item you want to select from a different Bin.
   2. Select each check box next to the Serial No for each item you want to select from a new Bin.

   Note: The total quantity to allocate must equal the amount specified in the Total Quantity box.

   3. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.
   If the item is not traceable
   The Amend Allocation window appears.
   1. Enter the reduced allocation amount in the New Allocation box for the Bin you want to switch from.
   2. Enter the amount of items you want to allocate in the New Allocation box for the new Bin.

   Note: The total quantity to allocate must equal the amount specified in the Original Allocation Totals box.

   3. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.
   3. Click OK to return to the Amend Picking List window.
7. To change allocation between warehouses

   1. Reduce the amount allocated in one warehouse.
   1. Select the Warehouse in which you want to reduce the Quantity Allocated.
   2. Click Edit.
   If the item is batch traceable

   The Batch Details for Item window appears.

   1. To remove the Qty to Allocate completely, clear the check box next to the Batch No.
   2. To reduce the Qty to Allocate, enter a reduced value in the Qty to Allocate box.
   3. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.

   Note: The Total Quantity Selected no longer matches the Total Quantity Allocated.

   If the item is serial traceable

   The Serial Numbers for Item window appears.

   1. Clear the check box alongside each Serial No you want to allocate from a different warehouse.
   2. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.

   Note: The Total Quantity Selected no longer matches the Total Quantity Allocated.

   If the item is not traceable

   The Amend Allocation window appears.

   1. Enter the reduced allocation value in the New Allocation box.
   2. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.

   Note: The Total Quantity Selected no longer matches the Total Quantity Allocated.

   2. Add the amount to allocate in another warehouse.
   1. Select the Warehouse where you want to increase the Quantity Allocated.
   2. Click Edit.
   If the item is batch traceable

   The Batch Details for Item window appears.

   1. Select the check box next to the Batch No you want to allocate.
   2. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.

   Note: The Total Quantity Selected must match the Total Quantity Allocated.

   If the item is serial traceable

   The Serial Numbers for Item window appears.

   1. Select the check box alongside each Serial No you want to allocate.
   2. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.

   Note: The Total Quantity Selected must match the Total Quantity Allocated.

   If the item is not traceable

   The Amend Allocation window appears.

   1. Enter the New Allocation value in the New Allocation box.
   2. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.

   Note: The Total Quantity Selected must match the Total Quantity Allocated.

   3. Click OK to return to the Amend Picking List window.
8. To change selected batch or serial numbers

   1. Select the Warehouse.
   2. Click Edit.
   If the item is batch traceable
   The Batch Details for Item window appears.
   1. Select the check box next to the Batch No you want to allocate from.
   2. Enter the Qty to Allocate that you want to allocate from the batch.
   3. Repeat until the Batch quantities selected value matches the Total quantity value.

   Note: You can allocate quantities from different batches unless the item is a single batch item. If it is, you must allocate the Total quantity from one batch.

   4. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.
   If the item is serial traceable
   The Serial Numbers for Item window appears.
   1. Select the check box alongside each Serial Nothat you want to allocate.

   Note: The number of Serial numbers selected must match the Total quantity.

   2. Click OK to return to the Amend Allocations for window.
   3. Click OK to return to the Amend Picking List window.
9. When you have finished amending the picking list, click Close.
