1. Click e-Submissions > IR Secure Mailbox.
Depending on how your e-Submissions settings have been set up, you may be prompted to retrieve new mail:

If the 'Check for new messages when opening the IR Secure Mailbox' check box is selected in your e-Submission settings, the Retrieving new mail window appears when you receive new messages from HMRC. Once all the new messages are retrieved, a confirmation message appears. Click OK. |
If there are problems connecting to the Internet, a message appears:

To close the IR Secure Mailbox so you can check your Internet connection and try again, click Cancel. If you want to access your IR Secure Mailbox without an Internet connection to the Government Gateway, click Offline. |
Tip: At the bottom of the window you can see the status of your Internet connection.
2. In the Folders section, the following information is displayed:
3. To return to the payroll desktop > File > Exit.
