Set up terminology for projects

To set your terminology

Open: Project Accounting > Utilities > System Setup > Project Accounting Settings | Terminology.

  1. For each Field name used in Project Accounting, change the Caption to the term that you use in your business.

    Note: Enter the singular version of the term; the plural version will be used automatically where appropriate.

    Grouping Level Phase Level
    Project Item Type ProjectItem Type
    Customer Customer
    Quantity Quantity
  2. Click OK to confirm the changes.

    Note: You will have to restart Sage 200 before the terminology changes will take effect.
