You can amend timesheet entries with a status of Saved, Submitted, Authorised or Rejected. You cannot change timesheets with a status of Posted.
You can make corrections to a posted timesheet, by creating a negative entry on a new timesheet.
Open: Project Accounting > Adjust Transactions > Amend Timesheet.
To display timesheets for a particular individual, select Show timesheets for resource and select the resource from the list.
To display timesheets from all resources, select Show timesheets for all resources.
To display timesheets by status, select Range of timesheets and select the Status (from Saved, Submitted, Authorised, Rejected or Posted). To update the list, click Display.
Note: To display the reason for rejecting a timesheet (if one was entered), hover the mouse pointer over the Rejected text in the status column.
Note: If you are using resource filtering, only the timesheets for resources on your Can enter for list are displayed.
Select the timesheet entries that you want to amend and click Edit.
The Edit Timesheet window appears.
Tip: To select more than one item using the mouse, hold down the Ctrl key to pick individual items, or hold down the Shift key to select a block of items.
When your timesheets have been submitted, they can be authorised and posted.
There may be occasions when it is necessary to correct entries on a timesheet that has already been posted. You may need to change the number of hours entered for a resource or change the project item the timesheet was entered to and so on.
In these cases, you can enter a negative amount on a new batch timesheet to correct the original entry.
Note: You cannot make negative entries on weekly timesheets.
If your Sage 200 is linked to your payroll and you do not want the new timesheet to post to Payroll, clear the Post to Payroll check box.
You can save, submit and post the timesheet in the usual way.
Note: If any of the details of the project or project item has changed, such as the cost/charge rates or nominal codes, these updated values will be used on the new timesheet.
