Selecting stock items

1. Select the items to display in the list:
• Select All to display all stock items.
• Select Filter by Stock Item to filter the list by stock item.
• Enter a wildcard search in the Stock Code box. For example, ?OU*.
How to use wildcards

Wildcards are special characters you can substitute for other characters. Using wildcards allows you to search for items that contain a particular set of characters.

• The * (asterisk) and % (percent) characters can be used to substitute for zero or more characters.
• The _ (underscore) and ? (question mark) characters can be used to substitute for a single character.

You can use different combinations of wildcards to search, e.g. ?OU* will search for values with three or more characters which have OU as the second and third characters.

• Enter a wildcard search in the Name box, if required.
Note:

If you enter a value in both boxes, both must be found for the stock item for the item to be displayed in the list.

For example, if you enter ?OU* in the Stock Code box and *Aluminium* in the Name box, stock codes are only displayed where the Stock Code has OU as the second and third characters of the code and the word Aluminium is used in the Name.

• Select Filter by Product Group to filter the list by product group.
• Select the Product Group to show only Stock Items in the group.
2. Click Display to display the selected items in the list.
3. Select the Stock Code of all the items you want to add.
4. Click OK.
