Open an accounting period

About opening an accounting period

When you open an accounting period, Sage 200 updates the appropriate entries from the deferred postings file.

You cannot open a period if:

Open: Accounting System Manager > Accounting Periods > Maintain Accounting Periods.

  1. Select the period you want to open.
  2. Click Change Period Status.
  3. Click Yes to confirm.
