If you want to use the e-Banking option, you should contact your bank
to find out which of their online banking services you need.
To find out which online banking service you can use with your software,
visit our website at www.sage.co.uk
For employee payments, an Employee Record Access level of 9 is needed, and:
- The
e-Banking option
- Company > Settings > Bank option
- Employee > Employee Record > Banking
- Payroll
> Update option
For monthly or quarterly payments to HMRC, an Employee Record Access level of 9 is needed, and:
- Company
> Settings > HMRC Payments
- e-Submissions > Collector of Taxes
The
Accounts Office Reference is a unique number assigned to your business
that you use to make payments to HMRC. You can find the reference on the
front of your HMRC payslip booklet. If you need further help, please contact
HMRC.
Once
a payment file has been created, you should import it into your online banking software. If you need help
with this process, please contact your bank.
All
employers with 250 or more employees must pay their tax and national insurance
contributions, including deductions from subcontractors and student loans,
