Setting up a salary sacrifice deduction

Note: Before setting up your software, please read the information in the section Salary sacrifice schemes.

1. Select Company > Pay Elements > Salary Sacrifice.

   Tip: You can sort the salary sacrifice deductions listed in an ascending or descending order by clicking the appropriate column heading. For example, click the Ref heading to sort by reference.

2. To create a new salary sacrifice deduction > New. Alternatively, to change the details of an existing salary sacrifice deduction > select the deduction > Edit.

   Note: The Reference number is assigned by your software. You can't change this.

3. Enter or amend the description of the deduction.
4. If the deduction is for childcare vouchers, select the Is this for Childcare Vouchers? check box.
5. When you have finished > OK >Close.

Salary sacrifice deductions are assigned to employees in their Employee Record. For more information, see Dealing with salary sacrifice deductions.
