Saving reports in other formats

Sage Cover Extra webinars

When you save a report in another format, you can easily share the information with people who may need to see the details, but who don't use the software.

Note: To open a report saved as a PDF file you must install Adobe Reader. You can download the most up-to-date version free from www.adobe.com

To save reports in another format

  1. To produce a pre-update report > select the required employees > Payroll > Pre-update Reports > continue from step 3.
  2. To produce a post-update report > Reports on the horizontal toolbar.

Tip: If the report you want includes employee information, to choose the employees you want, you can select them from the employee list. If no selection is made, the report includes all employees.

  3. Select the report you want > File.

Note: For some reports you can specify the range of information that appears on the report using the Criteria window. If this window appears, for help with the options available, click Help.

  4. Browse to the folder you want to save the report into > File name > enter a new name for the report.
  5. From the Save as type drop-down list > select the format you want to use for the report > Save > Close.
