You can use the information stored in your software to produce a number of year end reports from a previous tax year. For example, forms P11, P32 or a replacement P60 for an employee.

To produce reports from a previous tax year

  1. Payroll > Change Process Date > set your date to 5 April in the appropriate tax year.
  2. From the horizontal toolbar > Reports.

Tip: If the report you want includes employee information, to choose the employees you want, you can select them from the employee list. If no selection is made, the report includes all employees.

  3. Year End folder > select the relevant tax year folder > double-click the report that you want to open.

Note: For some reports, such as payslips, the preview appears as it would when printed using Sage stationery. To order Sage stationery, visit the Sage Store.

  4. If required, you can use the options at the top of the window to print the report, save it in another format, amend the page setup or email the report.
  5. When you have finished > Close.

When you preview a report, you use Sage Report Designer. There are a number of areas to help you with this software. For more information, see Sage Report Designer. You can also find information about the options available in Ask Sage article 26448.
