Email Addresses

How can I change the email address structure and apply a new address to my employees?Open this section

From the Employee List, select the relevant employees > Tasks > Global Changes > Electronic Documents > Set Email Address and Password.

How do I email a payslip to an employee?Open this section

Once you've processed your payroll for the period you are paying, from the Employee List select the relevant employees > Payroll > Pre-update Reports > select the relevant payslip layout > Email.

Can I manually enter email addresses in my employee records?Open this section

Email addresses can be entered manually in your employee records, however it can save time if you set up the software and then do a global update.

Will a global update replace existing email addresses in my employee records?Open this section

Existing employee email addresses are only replaced if you select the relevant check box when doing the global change.

What information in my software can I use to create the email address structure?Open this section

You can use the Personal and Employment information from an employee record. For example, the employee's first name and surname.


Password protecting P60s and payslips

Why should I password protect P60s and payslips that are emailed?Open this section

P60s and payslips contain information that is personal to each employee. For added security, emailed P60s and payslips generated as PDFs can be password protected. The recipient must enter the password before they can view the contents of the PDF.
