Occasionally you may need to quickly restore your data to an earlier point, for example if you want to look at data from a previous year or another company. You may also want to restore have sent data to your accountant.
If you have data corruption or you install the software on a new computer you can use this option to restore a backup of your data.
Note: When you restore data it overwrites the current company data, therefore you should ensure that you back up your current data before you restore.
File > Restore.
Complete the Restore window as follows:

To locate the backup you want to use > Browse > select the required file > OK. Note: If the file you want to restore is on a removable storage device such as a USB memory stick, please make sure that the device is attached to your PC before you click Browse. |

The company name and location you are restoring into. |
A list of the backups you've previously taken, this may help you to locate your backups.
Tip: To remove entries from this list, select the required line > Delete.
OK > Yes > OK.
