To use the invoice profit check option

You can use the Profit Check option to quickly check the profitability of your invoices.


  1. Enter your invoice, sales order or quotation > click Profit.

    The Sales Profit Analysis window appears showing your profit information as follows:

    Product Code

    The product code from the invoiceor sales order.

    Description

    The description from the invoiceor sales order.

    Sales Price

    The total net amount as entered on the invoiceor sales order.

    This column is also totalled to show the sum of all invoiceor sales order sales prices.

    Cost Price

    The total cost price for this invoice or order line. It is equal to the cost price from the product record multiplied by the quantity entered on the invoiceor sales order.

    This column is also totalled to show the sum of all invoiceor sales order cost prices.

    Profit Value

    The sales price minus the cost price as entered on the product record.

    This column is also totalled to show the sum of all profit values.

    Profit %

    The percentage profit for the invoiceor sales order item line. This is the profit divided by the sales price and then multiplied by one hundred.

    This column is also totalled to show the overall profit % for the selected invoiceor sales order.

  2. If required, to print the profit information > Print

    Note: The Sales Profit Analysis window does not show any information for S1, S2 , S3 or M item lines.

  3. To return to your invoice, sales order or quotation > Close.
